Si enim cognovissetis Christum qui vos fecit, quandoque converti habuissetis ad veram lucem, et erui
a daemonum potestate qui vos errare faciunt, et credere Deo, qui non mentitur his qui credunt in
nomine eius, dicens eis: Ego dabo vobis os et sapientiam, cui non potuerunt resistere omnes adversarii
vestri.
Voluit autem ex idiota et alienigena habere servum sibi autem ad gloriam, fortitudinem autem
praestans credentibus in se. |
| Translation |
For if you had known Christ who made you, and had converted to the true light, you would be set free from the power of the demons who lead you into error, and believe in God, who does not deceive those who believe in him, saying to them: I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries cannot resist.
