Summary Here the Origo details the wives and children of King Wacho, which reveals how the Langobards were also connected politically with other peoples. His first wife, Raicunda, was daughter of the king of the Turingi; his second wife Austrigusa, daughter of the king of the Franks; and his third wife, Silinga, daughter of the king of the Heruli, whom he had previously defeated. The Origo also mentions his two daughters by his second wife, Wisigarda and Walderada, and his son Waltari who becomes king after him.
