Hoc in novissimis erit temporibus, quando, Elia praedicante, convertetur Juda ad Christum, ut sit unum cum Israel spiritualiter, hoc est, cum populo gentium, jam Deum ex fide videntium, ponentes sibimet caput unum, quod est Christus, ascendentes que de terra, hoc est a carnali terrena que spe ad promissa caelestia. |
Translation |
This was in recent times, when, by the preaching of Elijah, Judah was converted to Christ, that he should be one with Israel spiritually, that is, with the people of the nations, those already seeing God through faith, placing one head with himself, which is Christ, ascending from the earth, that is, from the realm of flesh and the earthly through hope to the promises of heaven. |
