De fide catholica contra Iudaeos (601 - 636) Isidore of Seville |
Quotation |
meum in gentibus". 3.
populo gentium transiit. |
Translation |
Two whom he says through Malachia: 'Will towards you is not beyond me, says the Lord of Hosts, and I will not take a gift from your hand; for from the rising of the sun unto its setting, my name is great among the nations'. For when God was before them, but they were afterwards cast down for their sin, the redeemer of the world crossed over in the people of nations. |
