Text Mysticorum expositiones sacramentorum seu Quaestiones in Vetus Testamentum (624 - 636) Isidore of Seville
Quotation Nec prorsus occurrit quid saltem in allegoria boni significet haec ejus flenda submersio. Nisi forte quis dicat mulieres alienigenas, quarum amore exarserat, significare Ecclesias electas de gentibus.
Translation Nor by all means is it clear what this weeping submersion should indicate, unless some allegory of the good. Except perhaps if someone says it is about foreign wives, with whose love they burnt up, meant that the churches should be elected from the gentiles.
