Quotation Daci quoque suboles Getarum sunt, qui cum Orole rege adversus Bastarnas male pugnassent, ad ultionem segnitiae capturi somnum capita loco pedum ponere iussu regis cogebantur ministeria que uxoribus, quae ipsis ante fieri solebant, facere.
Translation The Daci are an offshoot of the Getae, who, when they had fought badly with their king Orole against the Bastarnae, as punishment for their worthlessness, were forced by order of the king to sleep with their heads in the place of their feet and to do all the jobs which had previously been done by women.
