Translation (...) we give the holy church of Regensburg from our property what is in the province of the Avars, that is a place, where formerly the castle Herlingoburg was positioned, with other neigbourhing (property) around, of which the borders are from this place, where the Erlauf flows into the Danube, along the shores of this river to a place called Erdgastegi and from this river in the eastern part until the middle of the mountain that is called by the Slavs Colomezza wheree on two trees signs of proof show, and from this place the northern parts of the Danube and in the south and west at the height of the mountain, as the signs on the trees demonstrate, to the above mentioned place Erdgastegi. This property with the Slavs that are living there with Houses, buildings (etc.) as a whole we give to above mentioned church in perpetual posession.
Summary King Louis "the German" donates to the Church of Regensburg (St. Emmeram) under bishop Baturic the place of the former castrum Herilungoburg in the "province of the Avars together with property and the Slavs living there.
