And so when the king was baptised with his princes and the people, who, through the intervention of divine grace, rejoiced to received the sacrament of salvation at the font, having the power both of victory over the enemies and the vow of his salvation, he returned to govern the sceptre of the realm and commended saint Vedast to the blessed bishop Remedius.
