Translation ΑΜ 6203 (710/1) (p. 527) As for Toudounos, who was governor of Cherson and representative of the Chagan, and Zoilos, who was by descent First Citizen, and another forty prominent men of Cherson together with their families, they sent them prisoners to the emperor.
Summary The former governor of Cherson, named as Toudounos (actually the Chazar title “tudun”) and one of the most important citizens, Zoilos, and a group of forty other important men are made prisoners and sent to the emperor Justinian II.
