In the time of this man in era 766 [728 CE], in the tenth year of his rule, and the 111th of the Arabs, the sixth of Iscam's rule, Odiffa, a very frivolous man, accepted authority from the African commander, who enjoyed the privilege of being able to confer power over Spania by the assent of the princeps. He ruled for six months removed from all seriousness and accomplished nothing noteworthy and adverse for the short duration of his rule.
