Translation In the time of this man in era 788, in the sixth year of his rule, and the 133rd of the Arabs, and the first of Abdella Alescemi, Maroan, as we have said, having been chased by the forces of the state and terrified at the tumult of the peoples, fled with the public treasury from the palace and sought to penetrate into Libia in order to make preparations to fight again.
