Quotation nec illud estimo fore silendum quod dixit per indaginem sancti Spiritus quando interiit uir gentilis nomine Radbodus princeps Frisianorum. Igitur cum completa esset malitia praefati uiri Radbodi coepit adunare turbas gentilium exercitumque ualde copiosum cupiens inrumpere in Francorum terras ut suam in eis ultionem exerceret. Haec audientes Franci metuebant eum nimis reminiscentes quod olim ab eo grauiter uulnerati terga uertissent. Tunc misertus dominus seruis suis non permisit illum intrare in terram Francorum sed percussit eum et mortuus est.
Translation Nor do I think it should be kept silent what he [St. Ermino] said after inquiring of the Holy Spirit when the heathen man known as Radbod, prince of the Frisians, died. When the evil plans of the aforementioned Radbod had been completed, he began to unite hordes of heathens into a vast army, wishing to overrun the lands of the Franks and exact his vengeance.
