Translation The Saxons gathered an army and again made war on the savage people of the Liutizi, and afflicted them with various evils and subjected them to Roman dominance, accepting hostages and tribute from them, and returned to their homes with peace. At the same time, a certain Frederick and his brothers who had been tyrannising parts of Germany against the power of the Roman Emperor were defeated by the Empress Agneta and the princes of the realm, and were destroyed.
