Sed hi diem sabbati alienigenae quaerunt profanare cum terrenae cogitationes in tempore nos nostrae
orationis importune conturbant et memoria siue delectatione temporalium rerum ab amore intimo
nituntur extrahere. |
Translation |
But these foreigners seek to profane the sabbath day when earthly thoughts inopportunely disturb us during the moment of our prayer and through the memory or delight of earthly things strive to take us away from our inmost love. (Trans. DeGregorio, p. 223) |
