Deinde rursum idem Isaac promittitur filius futurus in gentem magnam: Et benedicentur in eo
omnes gentes terrae.
Quibus verbis duo historialiter illi promissa sunt, gens Judaeorum secundum carnem, et omnes
gentes secundum fidem. |
Translation |
Then again the same is promised that Isaac his son shall be unto a great people: 'And all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him.' By these words two things are promised to him historically: the people of the Jews according to the flesh, and all the nations according to faith. |
