Quotation Deinde rursum idem Isaac promittitur filius futurus in gentem magnam: Et benedicentur in eo omnes gentes terrae. Quibus verbis duo historialiter illi promissa sunt, gens Judaeorum secundum carnem, et omnes gentes secundum fidem.
Translation Then again the same is promised that Isaac his son shall be unto a great people: 'And all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him.' By these words two things are promised to him historically: the people of the Jews according to the flesh, and all the nations according to faith.
