Translation |
84 . The Romans were named after Romulus, who founded the city of Rome and gave his name to both nation and city. These people were earlier called Saturnians, from Saturn, and Latins, from Latinus – for Latinus was king of Italy, who named the Latins from his own name – and they afterwards were called Romans.
