Si quis molinum alterius capelaverit aut sclusa ruperit sine auctoritatem iudicis, conponat solidos duodecim illi, cuius molinus esse invenitur. Et si iudicem interpellaverit, et iudex dilataverit ipsa causa deliberare, aut licentiam dederit averse parti, ipsum molinum evertendi, conponat solidi XX in palatio regis districtus ab stolesazo. |
| Translation |
If anyone destroys another man's mill or breaks his dam without the authorization of a judge he shall pay the owner of the mill twelve solidi as composition. If he had appealed to the judge and the judge delayed in deliberating the case or gave permission to the wrong party to overturn the mill then he shall pay twenty solidi composition to the king's palace, having been compelled to do so by one of the stolesazo [royal official]

| Summary |
Rothari, No. 150 establishes a twelve solidi composition for deliberately destroying another man’s mill or dam without permission form their Iudex. Moreover, if the judge delayed in arbitrating on the situation or made an unjust judgement in the situation, then the judge is to pay a twenty solidi composition to the royal fisc. This composition from the judge is to be taken by the stolesazo, a legal offical. |
