| Summary |
Rothari, No. 193 begins by establishing that it is the combined duty of the lord of an enslaved person and the familly of a free girl to pursue them, should they have fled the provincia [province, country] together. The law then goes on to state that both should be punished according to the law if they are caught, but that the lord of the enslaved person should remain blameless. |
